Kendal uses an innovative style to teach her students, integrating arts, science and technology, and even gardening to teach geometry, saying that it gives the students a sense of ownership and helps them to retain what they have learned. One project that she said she was very excited about was that her class was reading ‘Lord of the flies’ and was doing an ‘all girl’ production of it.
